The town of Fribourg has just launched its new website !

The new site is more comprehensive and accessible and comes equipped with more intuitive search functions, thus serving as a modern and efficient tool for its users. 

The content is available in both French and German and has been revised in order to improve the dissemination and sharing of essential information among citizens and residents as well as visitors. There is also an abridged English version, which is directed at the latter group.

Modelled after the Canton of Fribourg’s website, the town’s site has all of the same powerful features, including a new thematic search engine, a special version for mobile phones, an RSS feed with the latest news and improved access for blind and visually impaired persons. In addition, the new map desk ensures even more user-friendly access to geo-referenced data for our capital.

For the Municipal Council, the realisation of this project represents an important step towards improved integration of the latest information technology resources, with a view to facilitating communication and dialogue between the town’s administration and its residents.
