Official town

Town administration is the responsibility of the municipal council (Conseil communal) , which has executive powers and is composed of five members elected proportionally every five years and presided over by the Mayor, currently Mr. Pierre-Alain Clément. Approval of budgets and local regulations is the province of the cantonal parliament (Conseil général), composed of 80 members elected proportionally every five years.

The municipal administration ensures the effective organisation of the different departments and their staff.
